Small dogs are superior to regular or large sized dogs. Dogs are superior to babies and children. I don't see why you would ever get a child.

My night (or hour) in jail

I kind of got arrested last night and I don’t clearly remember or understand what happened.  When big, important things happen, I tend to get caught up and sort of black out all the important details.  I wasn’t even fucked up, I was at work saving the children and what not, and allegedly we broke the law in a number of ways: we were not actually canvassing in Mill Valley where we had a permit to canvas and despite having the permits, there is no soliciting in Mill Valley after 6 p.m.  Imagine my surprise, waiting for my friend Dave to pick us up, thanking my lucky stars I’d gone another night not captured, raped, bleached, and parceled out by some Marin County mountain serial killer (I’ve crossed that line of having watched too much Criminal Minds, it’s impairing my work performance), and thinking about Chris Brown’s pop star demise, to find out that my coworkers had been arrested and I was to go find their car and wait for the police to pick me up too.

The guy from the sheriff’s office who took me in (I had to ride separately from the guys I was with, which also freaked me out and sent me into a slight stranger/danger panic) was pretty embarrassed he had to do that and insisted it was only at his sergeant’s demand.  Even though he was nice, I still texted Rogge the whole time just so someone knew where I was and so I didn’t have to make awkward talk with him the whole time.  I didn’t get booked or anything, but they did take my picture (not mugshot) and finger prints.  I thought of asking if I could get a copy of that picture for my Facebook profile, but I didn’t want to push it.  I also was going to inquire if there would be a copy of the police blotter in the local newspaper but I forgot.  That clipping would be really cool to mail out as a Happy Spring! card to my family and friends.  I forgot though in all the excitement of being released.  Those 30-60 minutes in jail got me really thinking though…lockup is not fun and I never want to go back.  Tough times out there…

Anyway, it’s cool, Grassroots Campaign is going to take care of everything, and even if they don’t it’s no biggie, just a citation or something.  Honestly, I’m just really proud I wasn’t drunk or doing something I actually knew was wrong.

And I made a cool new friend later and I’m totally going to impose myself on her because I’m super desperate to make friends.  She has cool glasses and she is really funny.  That’s all I care about.  See: Carly, Nadim, and Rogge.
